Public consultation

This consultation has now closed and the planning application has now been submitted.

We invited feedback from the local community on our draft proposals for No.1 The Goods Yard during a public consultation held from 28 February - 13 March 2024. This included two public drop-in events on Friday 1 and Saturday 2 March at The Cascades shopping centre.

Thank you to everyone who engaged with us and provided comments on the proposals. All feedback submitted during the consultation period was considered by the project team and used to inform the final proposals.

How we responded to feedback

Our planning application is supported by a comprehensive Statement of Community Engagement (SCE) which outlines how we engaged, who we engaged with and the feedback received during the consultation. It includes a detailed summary of all the key themes that were raised and provides a response to each.
